To the Moroney family and patrons
All the best for 2010.Hope that patrons will celebrate Leeds promotion, Clare's all ireland, Oscar 2 winning in Shelbourne Park and go easy on Johnny when Celtic win in Scotland.We await the comebacks of Eire Og, Newmarket hurling and Elvis with renewed interest.... each as unlikely snow in the Sahara but we live in hope.

Moroney's bar is the kind of place that from the minute you walk in the room you feel warm, cozy and welcome. Enjoying a nice creamy pint of guiness surrounded by friends, laughs and ceol. What could be better. The craic is mighty, the guiness is god's nector and the only thing better than that are the great people who own and run the establishment. They are the finest kind of people imaginable.

Greetings one and all from New York. It's impossible to follow soccer here but for the internet, not like at home BJ :-) thanks to your live games.Anyway Leeds are still top of the table and hopefully that will be they way next May when we have our promotion party in Moroneys. My dad and grandfather's names were James Moroney from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. My youngest brother Chris owns a bar: Moroney's Pub in Pittsburgh and my wife and I hope to visit some day to lift a pint or three!
